Bocoran Pertama Asphalt 8: Infinity Dari Gameloft

Seperti yang sudah kita duga sebelumnya, Asphalt 8: Infinity ternyata memang sedang dalam tahap pengerjaan. Hal ini bisa terlihat dari video development diary yang ada di bawah. Saya sudah mencari video resminya tetapi tidak bisa menemukannya, jadi kemungkinan video di bawah ini merupakan video yang bocor :).

Anyway Asphalt 8: Infinity kali ini akan dibuat dari nol, hal ini diperlukan untuk melakukan beberapa hal baru yang sebelumnya tidak mungkin dilakukan dengan engine terdahulu. Apa saja yang baru? Well setidaknya ada 3 point seru dalam Asphalt 8 kali ini. Yang pertama adalah elemen fisika yang jauh lebih real, artinya mobil akan terpental dengan gerakan yang masuk akal atau mobil akan kehilangan keseimbangan jika menyerempet mobil lain. Tapi ini tidak akan menghilangkan kesan fun khas Asphalt.

Yang kedua adalah sang developer beberapa kali menekankan bahwa Asphalt 8 akan mengusung tema free. Walaupun tidak terlalu jelas maksudnya apa tapi dari video di bawah kamu bisa melihat bahwa mobil kita bisa memutar ke atas terowongan seperti mobil Batman. Mungkin ini adalah fitur penyeimbang dari implementasi sistem fisika yang baru. Saya juga berani berandai-andai bahwa Asphalt 8 kemungkinan sedang akan mempunyai fitur free roaming dimana kamu bebas berjalan-jalan di kota khas Need For Speed.

Yang ketiga adalah sebuah sistem multiplayer yang baru dan lebih matang. Sayangnya jika dilihat dari video di bawah tidak ada indikasi mengenai apa fitur baru tersebut.
